Job Description
Executes a set of deliverables (specifications, program documentation, etc.) for the Project/Client on a day-to-day basis. Maintains business relationships with assigned clients. Responsible for the deliverables in their respective portions of the analysis effort.

Job Requirements
  • Gathers, documents, and presents client’s business requirements for system enhancements.
  • Writes Specifications to address client business requirements using the impact™ detailed and pre-established Specification template. Writes status reports, user-guides, as well as system defect documentation in a clear and concise fashion for client and ICI consumption.
  • Reviews and validates Specifications with programmers and clients to obtain final approval (including pricing approval) ahead of the development phase.
  • Participates in the quality control effort by establishing test scripts, as well as by assisting in the testing phase of new functionalities.
  • Helps build client relationships, and manages their expectations with regards to Enhancement delivery timeframe. Manages the corresponding delivery process within our service bureau environment.
  • Monitors and tracks the Enhancement life cycle in our MS Project Planner database, to ensure that our software release deadlines as well as client expectations are met.
  • Documents and prioritizes remaining open issues with the Enhancement.
  • Monitors and tracks all open defects until the successful implementation of fixes into the client’s production.
  • Provides status reports to management on an on-going basis.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years experience
  • Fixed Income transaction processing either in a financial institution, or in a fixed income software organization (or in both). This experience would have been preferably acquired in a Mid- to Back-Office clearance and/or accounting department.
  • Ability to articulate highly technical issues in writing, as well as verbally.
  • This involves requesting detailed information from clients and programmers, to insure a full understanding of the enhancement or matter.
