Job Description
Our client, a bank in NYC is looking for an experienced business analyst responsible for BRD, FRD and testing of BCBS 239 controls. They are aiming to enhance the firms control framework to build comprehensiveness and data integrity controls.  Reconciliation, Data Quality and monitoring metrics will need to be defined in order the develop the controls and ensure high quality data framework can be maintained and continually improved. 
This role will report to a Program Lead and will be accountable for the core responsibilities identified below. This role will partner with a functional sponsor as well as various functional stakeholders. This role
will require the leadership and coordination of various resources and the delivery of new processes, procedures, and technology.
Job Requirements
Core Responsibilities
• Working with functional Information Data Management sponsors, Finance leads and IT development to define approaches, requirements and testing.
• Objectives planning, defining scope and deliverables
• Budget development and tracking
• Project plan development including activity planning, sequencing and resource management
• Oversee the creation and approval of core project documentation including business requirements,
functional requirements, technical specifications, user acceptance testing.
• Documentation of all required meeting materials
• Risk and issue identification, communication and resolution.
Skills and Experience
• Familiarity with BCBS 239 Controls.
• Prior experience in delivering regulatory reporting Data related projects
• Must be a strong writer and communicator with experience writing BRDs and FRDs
• Assist in testing phases to write test strategy, plans and test cases as well as documentation
• Experience working with various Broker/Dealer products including Equities, Bonds, Treasuries, ABS, MBS, Securitized Products, Repos/Reverse Repo, Stock Borrow/Loan
• Prior experience managing vendors highly desirable
• Prior experience in Waterfall and Agile Methodologies preferred
• Prior experience in JIRA and SharePoint required
• Ability to present well and communicate clearly
• Ability to work across departments including IT, Operations and various Front and Back Offices
