Job Description

Our client, a large international bank is looking for a PMO Analyst to work on a program to staff their IBOR transition project. Responsibilities will include:

  • Track and monitor resourcing for the IBOR transition project; GC is looking to hire numerous contractors to facilitate legal agreement review, remediation and negotiation. Responsibilities include:
    • Liaise with various 3rd party vendors
    • Obtain and scan candidate resumes
    • Work with hiring managers in all GC divisions
    • Obtain and track requisite approvals from GC, the business and IBOR Program team
    • Track progress of recruiting, hiring and onboarding
  • Track and monitor budgets and spend for IBOR transition project; GC has forecasted a substantial 2021 spend. Tasks include:
    • Monitoring all facets of GC and legal spend, including spend related to 3rd party managed service, individual SME contractors and external counsel
    • Provide regular updates to Program team on real-time forecasts
    • Work with lawyers SMEs to obtain requisite approvals for external counsel fees
    • Track and reconcile external counsel spend
    • Generate monthly accruals
    • Present progress and spend analysis to IBOR Program team
  • Monitoring, tracking and reporting project progress to the stakeholders
    • Produce Project Status Reports (PSRs)
    • Provide updates on objectives, milestones, deliverables and next steps
    • Produce RAID logs
    • Update GC and Program team on progress
  • Schedule, produce materials and minute meetings with internal and external stakeholders

Job Requirements
  • Prior experience as a PMO, PM, PMO Analyst, Project Coordinator etc
  • Strong Excel, Powerpoint, MS Project (or similar)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience onboarding contractors and working with hiring managers is desirable
  • Prior experience working on project budgets
